Anyone else bummed about the lack of cheap, gas-powered car options tthese days? Seems like the market (and maybe some regulations?) are pushing us towards fancy EVs and bigger rides. Don't get me wrong, EVs are cool, but a basic runabout for under $20k? Gone.
I see some folks blaming rebates and even government involvement, but is that the whole story? Maybe it's just what people want these days? Anyone out there still championing the little, affordable car?

There's a lot of focus on EVs as a solution to climate change, but I'm concerned that they may overshadow other major polluters. Do you believe there should be more effort to hold large industrial emitters accountable?
