Is the Volvo EX30's single screen a deal breaker?

Anyone else bummed about the lack of a traditional instrument cluster in the new Volvo EX30? I get the whole "minimalist" thing, but a central screen just feels like a cost-cutting move they're trying to spin as fancy design. I like having my speedo and other gauges right in front of me. Thinking of getting an EX30, but this is a sticking point for me.

I bet this is their definition of a futuristic look :ROFLMAO:, their goal is to make it minimal or clean and sleek but they even made it look mediocre at best. But I'm curious, is it possible to customize our dashboard to make it more unique and fit for our style?

I get your frustration...It’s tough when the “minimalist” design feels more like a sacrifice than a luxury. Having gauges in front of you is a lot more practical than relying on a screen
