So the EX30 gives you a choice between two battery types - LFP and NMC. The LFP battery lasts longer (less risk of thermal runaway) and is way cheaper to make and uses fewer resources, but it doesnt give you as many miles of range. On the flip side, the NMC battery packs a punch with more juice (aka driving range) and charges up quicker in chilly temps. It’s a tough decision! Which one do you think is the way to go??

You're right, less risk so it's safer. Even though NMC offers more range, I'm going with LFP for that reason. Besides, I typically only charge to 80% anyway, and twice a week works for my routine. Long trips are the only time I'd need a full 100% charge.

I'd go for the much safer option and i wont risk my life with a battery that could explode or malfunction anytime. However, faster charging in chilly temps is quite interesting

LFP batteries are more environmentally friendly, have a longer lifespan, allow for more frequent full charging, are less likely to catch fire in accidents, and can withstand higher temperatures.
