So I've got my sights set on the EX30, but the KIA Niro EV is also calling out to me. The Niro EV is longer and has more cargo space but the EX30 comes with a more budget-friendly starting price. Im in a real pickle trying to choose between the two. Anyone here got the inside scoop on how they stack up against each other? I could totally use some help figuring out which one to go for.

When it comes to techs and features, both cars are likely the same. So, the deciding factor might come down to looks. In that case, the EX30 definitely has a more premium and stylish design (for me)

I've heard Volvo is more reliable than other fancy European cars, but let's be honest, that's not exactly a ringing endorsement. Their regular cars have these super-complicated engines – small motors with both a supercharger AND a turbocharger, which just seems like overkill. And then their hybrids? They keep that complicated engine and add an electric motor to the back wheels. To me, that sounds like a recipe for potential headaches.

To really know if the EX30 will be reliable, I'd need to see how well they handle things like the suspension, brakes, and all the other parts. I just haven't been able to find any solid information on that yet.

AFAIK, if you want something that feels a bit nicer and you're not too worried about price, the EX30 might be a good choice.

But if you need a lot of space and practicality is more important, the Niro EV might be a better fit.

If you’re after something that feels more luxurious and modern, the EX30 is tough to beat because of its great tech and design. But if cargo space and practicality matter more (especially for long trips or hauling gear), the Niro EV would be a better choice, as @badassbaby80 said.

Have you considered how important cargo space and range are for your daily needs, or are you more focused on the budget-friendly aspect and overall design?

Tough choice! The Niro EV definitely offers more space but if you're aiming for something more budget-friendly the EX30 could be a great option. It all comes down to your priorities, if cargo space is a must go for the Niro EV. But if you want a more affordable starting price with solid features, the EX30 is definitely worth a look! And hey, keep in mind we might have a little bias here;)

Ah, the classic battle of space vs. savings! The Niro EV’s got the room, but the EX30’s got your wallet covered. If you’re planning on hauling a lot of stuff, Niro’s your ride. But if you want to save a few bucks and still get a solid car, the EX30’s looking pretty sweet! Decisions, decisions...

Niro EV gives you more space, but EX30 is easier on the wallet. If you want practicality, go Niro; if saving cash is key, EX30’s your ride;)
